The first two pictures are of a food item that was sold as a wrap. The last two pictures are of a food item that was sold as a burrito. What I NEED to know is what is the difference between a wrap and a burrito? Maybe a burrito was once a wrap then some corporate ass, fat fuck wanted to rename it into something more exotic so came up with the word “burrito”. Kinda like how the fortune cookie is an American made item disguised and often assumed to be China invented. Sorta like how we’ve all had it with grown ass NBA players flopping there way into the playoffs, but ultimately accept it as a part of the game…and sometimes cheer when it happens. Dr. J is somewhere punching a bamboo tree in disgust. Flopping is terrible…nasty…sloppy…fiction.

Since Monday, I’ve been on an all veggie, no meat, no smoking, no alcohol diet. I do this cleanse annually and, with Summer time just around the mountains, I figure now is a good time to start putting away the Winter belly and signing myself up for personal fat boy camp. These past few days I’ve been dreaming about burritos being thrown at me, donuts with pulled pork filling, sandwiches that use two turkey legs instead of bread, etc. etc. The extra energy, comfortable sleep and non-bloating feeling after every meal far outweighs these detox fever dreams so giving up my favorite past time of devouring dead animal flesh is much easier to cope with.

The tofu salad shown above is mostly what this diet consists of. That and an like 45 thousand elephant tusks worth of water. All you gotta do is cut up some tofu until it looks like big city skyline, fry tofu cubes and mushroom in sesame seed oil, sprinkle with pepper and garlic powder and top with cheapo .99 cent bags of salad.

2 Chainz!!! Looks as if the homey Waka Flocka could use a couple rounds of tofu salad himself. He just got lucky J-Cole didn’t go S.W.A.T. team like he did Common at the end of the NBA All-Star game.

Building a buzz for his upcoming album Undisputed, X hits the punching bag with The Weigh In mixtape. With collaborations from Dr. Dre, Snoop and Tyrese, The Weigh In is sure to leave you black and blue (in a good way) until the main event. After X was serving H.A.M. sandwiches out to the current rap game on the Breakfast Club, this mixtape would be a pleasant dessert after that meal.

The interwebs have been hungry for the next Lupe Fiasco drop and yesterday they finally got fed a little snack. Mr. Fiasco recently released the cover art for his first single “Around My Way (Freedom Ain’t Free)”, off his long awaited album Food and Liquor 2: The Great American Rap Album. The cover, dawning a black and white barcode that resemble the American flag, got my thoughts in a chokehold wondering what the Chicago kid got up his sleeves. I think it’s safe to assume that it’s not on the same mindframe as “Superstar”. The single is slated to drop on May 22nd, while the long-awaited follow up to 2006′s Food and Liquor is dated to drop within the radius of later this year.

Lupe told Fuse magazine, “The musicality that was on Food & Liquor that the original hardcore Lupe fans appreciated, we put it on this record, but to the tenth power.”

Have you ever just met someone and instantly wanted to be their best friend for an entire lifetime? I had that happen once at my local pub. Let’s just say it got a little strange, don’t approach people while they’re standing in front of a toilet and it’s not my local pub anymore. In relation to what was just said, I had to hold back my best friend gravitating instincts again when I interviewed Melbourne’s Hiatus Kaiyote. Their people skills are rad, their style is radder and their music is the raddest.

Do you enjoy Neo-Soul, Down Tempo, The Future and Hip Hop? Imagine all those genres and more, put into a blender and poured into a chalice for you to nourish your music bone with. That is the essence of Hiatus Kaiyote. Be sure to pick up their debut EP Tawk Tomahawk so when they come to the U.S. in the Fall you won’t be the only one not singing along.
