The Turkey Loves The Potato
INGREDIANTS
1lb ground turkey (you can use ground beef, but turkey is a healthier meat)
1 cup worcestershire sauce
2 squirts of soy sauce
1 tablespoon of vinegar
3 cloves of garlic (minced)
1 potato (skinned and chopped into squares)
A mouthful of regular sized onion
1 roma tomato (sliced and not infected with salmonella)
Ground pepper (to taste)
Salt (to taste, I used garlic salt)
This is a very easy meal that you can cook up in 30 minutes. ALL BUSY BACHELORS LISTEN UP!
Fill a bowl of hot water to defrost your ground turkey.
Clean your potato and peel it **NOTE** you can’t peel a potato like a banana you actual have to use that peeler tool thingy.
Even the cheap brand of worcestershire sauce will work.
Then get some proactive for that pimple on your right cheek…
and bite off a mouthful of onion. Brush your stank teeth after you bite it…or you can go European and not brush for 3 months.
Yup, that’s about the right size.
Now, get your Yan Can Cook on and O.J. Simpson them veggies. Don’t worry…you will get found not guilty, but you’ll lose in a civil suit which will make you go insane.
Once your ground turkey defrosts put it into a bowl, sprinkles your spices, toss in the worcestershire, squirt in the soy sauce, and jingle in the vinegar.
Throw in your chopped veggies.
I know you’ve been scratching your stank ass all day so wash your hands and massage everything together.
Heat up a tad bit of oil and then throw that ground turkey mix into the pan (or wok if you don’t have a big enough pan).
Mix every now and again….then cover so your mix won’t get too dry. Remember, if you cook a meal uncovered the moisture will evaporate (never to be seen again). So, to combat your food getting dry you can always cover the ingredients to keep the moisture in. You don’t want your mixture too moist or too dry so you’re gonna have to gauge that for yourself. If your food gets too dry then you can always throw in some water…it won’t hurt one bit.
Cut up some tomatoes (the non-lethal kind), serve with rice, and enjoy your meal. The tomatoes on the side compliments the turkey mix very well. If you don’t like to eat tomatoes fresh, then you can always throw in a can of diced tomatoes in the mix while you’re cooking the meat. Now watch “Everybody Loves Raymond” on your 10 inch black and white TV that scares girls away because only crazy people have those type of TVs.
***NOTE*** minus the potatoes, make a batch of this ground turkey mix, add a little bread crumbs to the mix to thicken up the meat, and put in the freezer. You now have a batch of turkey burgers chillin’ in the freezer for your next BBQ. You will probably get laid at your BBQ by your homegirl’s vulnerable friend who just got out of a violent relationship. Then the girl’s ex-boyfriend will throw a brick through your 1979 Honda Accord. But that’s okay because you were looking for a reason to get a new car anyways and the sex was crazy good.

Sounds good but I’d probably use beef because I hate the texture of ground turkey! Meat and potatoes…can’t go wrong with that!
Yes, meat and pototoes is the greatest thing on the entire planet…..
second greatest thing is witnessing the car that just cut you off get into an accident, but not a fatal one just enough of an accident to teach them that cutting somebody off isn’t the thing to do.
Just a note – you used HOT water to defrost your meat – you should be using cold water! Using the hot water you are creating a temp for bacteria, where the cold water will just defrost the meat. I found your site from homecooking blog. I like seeing new recipes.
If you have left overs of this – it makes a really good breakfast meal if you scramble it with eggs. MMM MMM with ketchup. Eat it with rice
@ Terri: Thanks for the tip. I’m glad I never got
for all those times I defrosted my meat in the warmness. Thanks for stopping by and helping a fellow cooking person, guy, dude, person, man.
@ Cary: I agree in theory because their are never any leftovers at my house, haha. I’ve heard about this leftover rumor. Hmmmm, maybe I’ll see it one day.
