let’s have a moment of silence for our lost troops. I took a picture of this car as I was driving down the highway today. The sign on the back of the car said “Death Toll In Iraq: 4,212″. Looking at this sign made me realize that my problems are really small in comparison to those 4,212 who are not of this world any more. I grew up as a military kid so I’ll tell you from experience that most of our soldiers are just like me and you: they are doing a job so they could make a living. A lot (I’m not saying all of our soldiers) have no political or personal interest in going overseas to fight in the desert. However, they do what they do and risk their lives to make a livelihood.
