Mega Tamago – McDonald’s Japan

Generally speaking, McDonald’s is the least healthy food item you can put into your body. It’s basically like eating a bag of crap. Thank Allah (or Jesus, Buddah, or whoever) that a bag of crap isn’t considered a food item. Introducing McDonald’s Japan’s new bag of crap:

On the website this bag of crap is described as: “The Mega-Egg. Quivering with mega deliciousness.” I would like to point out there sneaky, sneaky use of the word “quivering”. That is a nice touch of marketing. It’s like saying “Street Hookers. Quivering with STDs.

I’m not saying that the Mega Tamago isn’t delicious…because honestly it looks damn delicious and I’m pretty sure it tastes delicious. On the same token, I’m not saying that street hookers don’t look delicious too…because some look damn delicious and I’m pretty sure some can make you feel delicious. However, what I am saying, is that something can look delicious, but you must use your 3rd eye to envision how beauty can turn into heart attack in about 3-4 days.

Of course, the philosophy of “I’ll try anything once” can/will apply to this Mega Tamago if I ever decide to take a flight to Japan. It will apply to street hookers too. I wonder which one I should try first?

Check out how a reader gets mad because I make light at an obese women goes through a BK Drive-Thru on a scooter.

I think we need to take a lesson from The Mighty Ducks. Bag of crap = doorstep, fire, run

Thanks for checking out my blog – I’ve added a link to your site on ours in our little blogroll. Awesome!

PS – If I went to Japan, I would not eat this.

The picture of this burger is amazing… yes I know it’s bad for you, but I agree with your “try anything once” theory…. my boyfriend Mark and I like to call it “research”… how do you know if it’s good until you try it at least once?

By the way, thanks for stopping by my blog and for your wonderful comment – I am adding you link to my blog now – please do the same here on yours. Thanks!

@ Megan, Oh I love The Mighty Ducks. QUACK QUACK QUACK QUACK. So inspiring. I too can be come from the ghettos of Minnesota and rollerblade thru the Great Mall of America without a single security guard saying anything. QUACK QUACK QUACK.

@ Mary, Hello beautiful food lady. I have added you up on my links as well. Thanks for rockin’ the blog!

@ Tara, Another beautiful lady….ohhhhhh my! I added you up on the links section as well

@ Food Flirt, I agree, but like they say, “In the land of the sushi the big ass burger is king”. I don’t know who said that…maybe I just made that up…but I agree to that statement as well as yours. :)

Speaking of land of the sushi. My mom just came back from Japan a few days back and she said their was a cantaloupe selling at the market for $120. WOW!

    Good stuff… I hate McDonald’s but I love a fried egg on my burger…it’s an Aussie/NZlander thing…
Maybe it’ll at least inspire other places with real burgers to throw the egg option in there. Currently Bare Back is the only place I can get one…and they put Beets on there too…my favorite burger in town for sure.

Hollywood!!! They definitely should put more fried egg on burgers in the states. You can only get eggs on burgers during breakfast. I nice egg on a Winston’s burger would be a nice touch.

    HOLLYWOOD!!

I’ve wanted to try the Mega Tamago ever since I first saw a picture of it, but since they only sell them in Japan and I live in Milwaukee I decided to just head to my local McDonald’s and recreate my own. I also made mine a double!
