Gerber Baby Food = Not So Crazy. Ramen Gerber Baby Food = Get Your Crazy Bags Packed.

Gerber is announcing a new product this week, baby food made out of Top Ramen noodles!Gerber Top Ramen Dinner

Gerber Top Ramen Dinner should be hitting the shelves by May and is part of Gerber’s “2nd Foods” line. The “2nd Foods” line is for after you give your baby the basics like creamed veggies and fruits. Since I have a seven month old myself, I think this a great idea. Kids will love the flavor of the noodles and it’s healthier than something like mac and cheese.

The Rest of the article can be found here at Matt Fischer’s very cool Ramen blog.

While cruising this thing we call the World Wide Web, I came upon Matt Fischer’s article about Gerber’s new baby food made out of Ramen Noodles. I wonder if this product has all the great-for-the-heart sodium and bone growing starch that every baby needs? Because, as you all know, Ramen noodles is what every infant’s diet needs. Forget the non-nutritional apples, carrots, and peas. Give that child some healthy cream chicken, beef, and shrimp.

Speaking of Ramen flavors, do any of y’all remember the Ramen flavor called “Oriental”. It came in a blue packet. Actually, here’s a picture of it. What the heck is “Oriental” flavor supposed to be. Is it supposed to taste like railroad and opium? Or maybe it’s the same taste as Jackie Chan’s sweat? Yet another guess would be it tastes just like a tsunami? Perhaps, the Gerber people grinded up 1000 paper cranes and shoved it in a 2 oz. jar?

REALLY? Come on Ramen dudes. Oriental? You might as well put “chink” or “zipper head” on the package and call it a day.

Anyways. Ramen baby food. It’s great. Get some. Give some. Have a wonderful day. Shalom.

BK’s phairmones smells like Oriental ramen. Not because he’s an Oriental, but because he’s REALLY, REALLY Oriental. Haha. Okay, it might look like I’m talkin’ smack to a regular passer-byer.

In fact, BK is the el presidento of Sanz Pareil Clothing and a very good friend of mine. We’ve spent many hours together. Yeah we did. Many, many hours. MANY hours. Yeah…..many. haha.

loool that is hella ignorant, there is negative nutritional value in anything remotely resembling ramen noodles.
Does it make me a bad person for wanting to try it?

I’ll be bad right along with you. I would love to try a bottle of this stuff. Most baby food is actually pretty good so I wouldn’t be suprised if this is the wave of the future. Now, if only they can cut a burrito down to this size I can finally get to livin’!

Shit, I betcha one tiny jar of that stuff costs more than one packet of ramen!

Kerstin, I’ve never thought about that. That is kinda of a trip. A packet of ramen noodles is like 10 cents and this jar will probably be like 2 bucks.

Caleb: Rip off, lol. Just cook a package regularly and smash it with a fork and let it soak in it’s broth for like, a day in the fridge. I betcha it’ll be just like that baby food.
