Foods In Iraq – My Mama Can Tell You About It

My mom is a soldier. I know I speak in the tone of sarcasm quite a bit, but this time I’m speaking in the tone of “proud of my mama”. My mom IS a soldier. She is a Navy corpsman for the Marines and just got back from Iraq a couple months back. “Hey, hey…what a perfect way to get some insights on the unique Iraqi eats”, I told myself. I emailed to ask her to send me some flicks of the local Iraqi food while she was there and a couple days later she emailed me some cool flicks of her and her fellow soldiers surrounding a massive plate of meats, veggies, and rice. I don’t know why I’m just getting to posting these pictures. Maybe because I was on a heroin binger for the past 3 months. Anyways…enjoy the flicks…and then enjoy a turkey baster full of that sweet, sweet opium.
