Eating While Driving

eating while driving Eating While Driving

Quick question: What’s the biggest or most difficult thing you’ve eaten while driving a vehicle?

My personal best is not too amusing. I’ve eaten hamburgers driving 65 MPH on the freeway. A part of a friend’s DUI story was that he was going 100 MPH while eating a carne asada burrito. I’ve seen friends eat hamburgers while driving stick shift in city traffic. My favorite driving while eating situation is the maneuver where you have to try to unwrap your food while driving. That’s always entertaining.  Having somebody riding shotgun is always a plus when eating while driving because they become your personal food butler for that moment in time. Passing the driver some french fries or holding up his buttermilk sauce so he can dip them is an essential for a shotgun passenger. It’s almost disrespectful if you don’t help your driver. I wonder if their any out there who’ve been brave enough to eat pasta or maybe even Chinese food while driving?

I’m too much of a wuss to eat and drive. Before I ever started driving, I saw some guy on the news who choked on his food & crashed. All I could think was “Oh man, I would end being that guy. I am just that clumsy

The worst eat-and-drive I’ve seen was next to me on a highway. First, the guy was reading the newspaper, which completely blocked his windshield. Later, he was drinking from a huge cup the size of his face and it blocked his view again. Later he spilled pastry crumbs & was flat on the passenger side picking them up

Megan – you gotta try it at least once. If not on a crowded freeway while it’s raining, then maybe in an empty parking lot. It’s crazy fun.

D! – Well, well, well. Looked who decided to drop on in.
