Here in California we say soda, my friend from Washington state says pop, my drummer from my band says some people in his home state of Idaho say coke and the old molester down the street says soft drink whenever he tries to lure me into his home. Seriously, he doesnt have to lure me. I’d do just about anything for a Fanta. Even have 39 Fanta cans hurled at my ankles by pro quarterbacks.
So which is it for you?
in the south we say “I’m going for a Coke. You want one” and then the person is supposed to say “Yeah, give me a Sprite / Diet Coke / whatever else”
